Chicago, one of the most successful bands of all time, has been announced as the entertainment at the 2014 Wine Spectator New York Wine Experience, Oct. 16–18 at the New York Marriott Marquis. The chart-topping "rock band with horns," whose hits include "Saturday in the Park," "If You Leave Me Now," "25 or 6 to 4," and many more, was Billboard's No. 1 singles charting group of the 1970s and, over the course of nearly 50 years, has sold more than 100 million records, with five No. 1 albums and 21 Top 10 singles. The band released its 36th album, Now, in July. Chicago will perform at this year's Grand Award Banquet.
The Wine Spectator New York Wine Experience is a three-day event featuring hundreds of the world's finest wines and winemakers. Two Grand Tastings feature more than 250 wines rated 90 points or higher from estates and châteaus around the world that have received Wine Spectator's Critics' Choice Awards. This year's seminars include a tasting of the 2013 Top 10 Wines of the Year, the popular Matching Masters food-and-wine pairing challenge with chefs José Andrés, Emeril Lagasse and Eric Ripert and restaurateur Danny Meyer, a James Laube-led tasting of Cabernets from Napa's famed Beckstoffer To Kalon vineyard, and much, much more.
