It seems the single-vineyard craze is really catching hold in the Finger Lakes, where producers are adding quality and diversity to their portfolios with an increasing number of small-production, site-specific bottlings that highlight upstate New York's best grape, Riesling. All 27 of these whites come from the cool, wet 2009 vintage, which tested the region's winemakers.
