Australia has plenty to offer when it comes to fresh, elegant white wines that won’t empty the wallet. The country’s Chardonnays and Rieslings can be impressive for their balance and elegance, but this large and diverse winemaking country does well with a host of other varieties, too. Fans of aromatic whites can find grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Gewürztraminer and even the Italian variety Vermentino.
