New Rhône-style reds and more, for as little as $10

If you’re looking for something tasty, interesting, and clocking in at under $30 (or even just $10), we’ve pulled together some selections from our recent tastings.

There are a handful of Syrah-based wines in this collection, as we’re putting the finishing touches on our California Rhône red report coming out next year. We’ve found plenty of affordable options, like the Novy, Brander, Concannon and duo from Morgan. Even though Syrahs come in a variety of styles, these all share an easy drinkability and would probably match well with a variety of wintery meals.
