10 California Values: Reds and Rosés

New reviews of inexpensive Rhône-style reds, Zinfandels and two rosés offer affordable options

Since we review all of our wines in blind tastings, a large part of the fun of our jobs is unbagging a wine that we’ve liked to discover that it’s reasonably priced. Here are some recent California wines, including some Rhône-style reds, Zinfandels and a pair of rosés, that delighted us in that way, with a variety of price tags that should meet most definitions of “affordable.”
