Alsace’s fluted bottles probably make most consumers think immediately of Riesling, but this report is a testament to the wide range of grape varieties bottled in Alsace. Their quality is at a peak with the classic-rated 2007 vintage, and reports from producers and early tastings of the 2008 vintage hint that another exceptional vintage is on its way.
