In a cool vintage, young Napa wines show structure and balance

For the second year in a row, Napa Valley Cabernet producers faced a late, cool growing season, and those milder conditions are reflected in my recent sampling of the young wines from 2006. Overall, the wines offer excellent structure, intensity and balance, with fine-grained tannins.
