The most elegant hotel in Okanagan is also convenient—Calona Estate Wines and the Wine Museum, as well as various shops, restaurants and theaters, are just a short stroll away. Casual and contemporary, this idyllic resort offers rooms and suites with sweet views of Okanagan Lake and the mountains, but the bigger draw is the restaurant, Wild Apple. The cuisine is tasty and uncomplicated with dishes such as mountain berry "T" roast duck breast and wild salmon crab cakes with field lettuce salad. The wine list is almost entirely local, with more than 20 wines by the glass on the menu. Located on the south end of Kelowna, the resort is conveniently close to Mission Hill and Cedar Creek wineries.

Built in 1908, this inn and spa still has many of its original charms, including period antiques, lovingly-restored hardwood floors, and claw-foot bathtubs. Each room also comes with a semi-private terrace, and the spa offers an impressive line of treatments despite the small inn's size. The restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, offers five- and nine-course tasting menus with advance notice, featuring locally grown or produced ingredients. There is a wine bar, too, with a large selection of Okanagan wines.
