Located in the central portion of Canada's western province of British Columbia, the Okanagan Valley stretches south to Canada's border with the United States. The area's defining geographical landmark is the 100-mile-long Okanagan Lake, which extends for nearly the entire length of the valley. Many of the lodgings are located on the lake, providing stunning views and access to water sports, swimming and alfresco dining.

Also included here are some top-notch accommodations in Vancouver, a short flight away. Should you find yourself needing an overnight stay before heading to the Okanagan Valley, check out some of Vancouver's finest guestrooms.
