A wine's flavors should echo its aromas. When you identify a flavor in your wine, underline the flavor on your tasting checklist; aromas will be circled and flavors will be underlined.




  1. Sip, swish and aerate the Beaujolais.

  2. Do the flavors you detect match the aromas you sensed when you sniffed the wine?

  3. Spit the wine and underline the flavors on your Tasting Worksheet.

  4. Repeat as necessary.

  5. Did you detect flavors that you didn't find as aromas?

  6. How intense are the flavors? Mark your Worksheet.
