Retina with photoreceptors: cones and rods
Cones - bright light - color
Rods - dim light - no color

Reflected Color
Human eye perceives light = wavelengths
Each visible wavelength has own color
Different materials reflect different wavelengths or colors
Reds reflect red or purple; whites reflect yellow or green

 
WINE'S VISUAL FEATURES

Evaluation Features and Questions

Clarity How clear is the wine?
Color What color is the wine? And the meniscus?
Intensity How dark or light is the color?
Spritz Are there any bubbles? What are they like?
Legs Are the legs thick and persistent? Or thin?
