With respect to the prior reviewer, this wine list changes so much, due to the volume sold, that it is hard to track it on-line, as the inventory is manually done each month. By the way, I don't work there, but I am a frequent patron. Steve is an excellent sommelier, and like Matt before him, always takes good care of the customers. I highly recommend Emeril's for good service and food. However, if you want great food and wine, head to NOLA instead.

Short version: Far too many expensive wines -- few under $80
Long version: My first visit to Emeril's New Orleans was this past week. The food was wonderful, the waitstaff was professional and attentive, and the overall experience was very good. My one disappointment was the wine list because it was so expensive, and so unnecessarily so! The food is reasonably priced, why not a couple dozen reasonably priced wines $30 to $60?
