A destination restaurant. Yes, you could spend less, but it is an experience.

A historic property, a fantastic restaurant, a legendary chef...all situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not to be missed.

A truly remarkable experience. Even the wait staff knows a tremendous amount about wine, and do a really great job with pairings. It is pricey, but the food is sublime, the pairings were spot-on, and the service impeccable. They can't do enough for you.
For the full experience, consider spending the night at the Inn. We were so full after dinner that we didn't think we could eat dessert. "No problem" they said, "go up to your room and relax for a while, and we'll bring your dessert up when you're ready." And at midnight, that's exactly what they did.
Highly recommended.
