
Wine has led me down all kinds of adventurous gastronomical paths, and only occasionally into a pothole. Most of the time, it's the hunt that provides the adrenaline rush. Since my first trip to Piedmont 20 years ago, I've been fascinated by the heady, exotic aromatics of truffles.
