U.S. Wine Consumption Up 1 Percent, Italian Pinot Grigio Now Top Wine Import

Wine consumption in the United States increased 1 percent in 2001, to 231 million cases, with 44 brands accounting for more than 60 percent of that total, according to the new 2002 edition of The U.S. Wine Market: Impact Databank Review and Forecast.
