When people learn that Pat and Anne Stotesbery bought Chateau Woltner on Howell Mountain above Napa Valley, they have one question: "Did you pull out the Chardonnay?" Chateau Woltner's previous owners, Francis and Françoise DeWavrin-Woltner, had arrived from France in the early 1980s determined to make Chardonnay.
