California Cabernet's Magical Decade
The 1990s will go down in wine history as the decade in which California Cabernet took on the world with a barrage of stupendous wines. All the vintages of the decade except one, 1998, were outstanding, and now comes 1999, one of the best ever for the Golden State, according to senior editor James Laube.
