
I never figured George W. Bush as wine savvy. In fact, he's no wine man at all, having sworn off anything alcoholic after years of hard (not necessarily Republican) partying. So I was surprised when, this past summer, President Bush flatly declared, "Most Americans don't sit in Martha's Vineyard, swilling white wine.
