Christian Bizot of Champagne Bollinger Dies
Christian Bizot, patriarch of Bollinger, died on July 7 of a heart attack. He was 73. Bizot, the fifth generation to run the Champagne house, became the firm's sixth president in 1978 and held that position until 1994, when he became chairman of the Bollinger holding company.
