High End Lots Remain Buoyant Despite Stock Market's Volatility

Classics continue to raise paddles and California cult wines rebound

Although the Dow Jones underwent major gyrations between the end of April and the middle of May, commercial wine auctions seemed unaffected by the volatility. In fact, from New York to London, high-ticket items were among the most sought-after.
