
London-based drinks giant Diageo sold its Glen Ellen and M.G. Vallejo brands to The Wine Group, a California-based company that owns Franzia Winery and Corbett Canyon. The $83 million deal includes the worldwide rights to the two brands and current inventory, but not the California vineyards or wineries.
