The Quest for Collectible Wines Continues in 2002
Calm bidding outpaces previous year with an active January and February
Compared with the frenetic pace of the pre-Christmas rush which saw nearly $25 million worth of fine and rare wine go on the block, the first two months of the 2002 auction season were relatively calm: Just over $6 million worth of wines were knocked down in seven separate sales.
