Former Chef Thinks Outside The Barrel in Crafting Furniture
In 1997, Paul Block was working as a chef at Honig Cellars when he stumbled upon a barrel in the winery. Block lifted one of the barrel's metal rings, and the wooden staves fell to the ground in sections, "like an orange," Block recalls.
