British Bankers Lose Jobs Over Pétrus Dinner

$62,700 wine tab for rare vintages was just too much

Capturing attention around the world, five investment bankers from Barclays Capital in the United Kingdom were fired recently for lavishing $62,700 on a celebratory meal last July at Pétrus, a trendy London restaurant.
