Sotheby's Adds a Kitchen to the House

Auction-goers can trade in their paddles for place settings. Bid, a restaurant sporting a 110-selection wine list, opened on Sept. 10 in Sotheby's New York location. Wine director Alex Miranda, who most recently worked at the Tasting Room and Blue Hill in Manhattan, developed a wine list consisting of recognizable standards and eclectic alternatives.
