Retreat among the pines on the stunning Monterey coast
It's hard not to gawk. Two-story windows in the main lodge frame the bluer-than-blue Pacific Ocean splashing onto rocks below, accented by wind-blown cypresses and Monterey pines. The rooms are terraced on a steep hillside, every one of them facing the view.
