
After $6 million and two and a half years of construction, Raphael, the newest winery on Long Islands North Fork, opened on July 7. This is no quaint clapboard barn set off Peconics Main Road. Owner John Petrocelli, a construction magnate, built a large Italianate structure, with a vast tasting room overlooking the 60-acre vineyard.
