Californias Historic Buena Vista Winery Sold for $85.5 Million

After being put on the market last fall, Sonoma Countys Buena Vista Winery was sold in late June to global wine-and-spirits giant Allied Domecq. The $85.5 million deal includes the Buena Vista and Haywood brands, Buena Vistas winery in the Carneros district, the historic cellar and visitor center in Sonoma, and 983 acres of land in Carneros, including 718 acres of vineyards.
