July 31, 2001 Feds May Enlarge Warning Labels on Wine Bottles Much to the dismay of winemakers, the government warning labels on wine bottles may soon get bigger -- and much more vivid. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is considering a proposal -- filed by the nonprofit Center for Science in the Public Interest, Sen.
