March 31st, 2001 Julia Child Honored at California Benefit T he seventh annual Harvest Auction, held Dec. 2 at the Los Angeles Marriott Hotel Downtown, honored chef and cookbook author Julia Child. Robert and Magrit Biever Mondavi personally presented The Robert Mondavi Wine and Food Award 2000 to Child after guests enjoyed a five-course dinner paired with wines from, among others, Trefethen, Wild Horse Winery and Chateau Ste.
