February 28th, 2001 Landslide Destroys Fonseca Port Stocks A landslide in Vila Nova di Gaia, the center of the Port trade in Portugal, destroyed two of Fonseca's warehouses on Jan. 3, breaking huge vats full of Port and sending a wall of wine into nearby offices.
