December 15th, 2000 Mondavi, Rosemount Join Forces to Make High-End Reds For the second time this year, prominent American and Australian wine companies have joined forces. On Oct. 17, Napa Valley-based Robert Mondavi Winery and Hunter Valley-based Rosemount Estates announced a 50-50 venture to produce and market new lines of California and Australian wines, including high-end Shiraz and Syrah.
