November 15th, 2000 Grapevine Bordeaux vintner Christian Moueix, whose family owns Chteau Ptrus and several other estates in Pomerol, sold four properties in the Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac appellations to Jean Halley, whose family owns the French supermarket chain Carrefour, for an undisclosed sum.
