
November 15th, 2000 Storms Hit Burgundy and Chianti Classico During Harvest Just as harvests were getting underway, Burgundy's Côte de Beaune appellation and Tuscany's Chianti Classico region were hit by violent thunderstorms that may reduce the quantity or hurt the quality of some of these areas' wines from the 2000 vintage.
