July 31st, 2000 Moderate Drinking May Lower Men's Risk of Diabetes Men over 40 who consume alcoholic beverages on a light to moderate basis show a decreased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, according to a team of researchers led by a doctor from Harvard Medical School.
