
June 15th, 2000 J.F.K. Bottles Sold at Zachys-Christie's Four rare clarets selected from President John F. Kennedy's collection fetched $6,555 at a Zachys-Christie's auction in New York on April 7. The original collection, which was cellared for the president by Manhattan's Carlyle Hotel, comprised 55 cases of fine Bordeaux, Burgundy and California varietals.
