May 15th, 2000 Georgia Legislature Approves Limited Home Delivery of Wine Wine lovers in Georgia may soon be able to have their favorite bottlings delivered directly to their homes. In February, both Georgia's House of Representatives and Senate overwhelmingly passed a bill that would undo part of the state's 1997 law that made it a felony to ship alcoholic beverages to consumers.
