November 15th, 1999 California's Delicato Vineyards Expands From Bulk to Boutique One of California's largest wine producers is turning its sights on the boutique wine market. Delicato Vineyards, founded in 1924 by Sicilian immigrant Gaspare Indelicato, has made its first high-end varietal wines, which it will release next year to commemorate its 75th anniversary.
