It has done so with four outstanding releases: Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Special Reserve 1996 (93 points, $30), Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley Special Edition 1996 (92, $40), Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley Special Reserve 1996 (92, $26), and last year's prototype for the current string of hits, the Herzog Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley Special Edition 1995 (93, $46).
