November 15th, 1999 Stop the Fraud And Greed in Tuscany By James Suckling The cheating has got to stop in Tuscany.   For more than a year, I have heard stories about Tuscan wine producers illegally blending wines from other regions of Italy -- Sangiovese from Abruzzo, Primitivo from Apulia -- but I have never been able to substantiate them.
