May 15, 1999 Grapevine Guenoc Winery owner Orville Magoon has indicated that he is ready to sell his winery and 22,000-acre property in Northern California--or a part of it--for the right price. The wealthy 71-year-old vintner has spent the last 35 years transforming grazing land into a 400-acre vineyard and winery in the remote Guenoc Valley, north of Napa Valley.
