February 28, 1999 LVMH Wins Stake in Château d'Yquem LVMH Moët-Hennessy Louis Vuitton will be allowed to take a minority stake in Château d'Yquem. In December, the Bordeaux Court of Appeals confirmed previous decisions permitting the French luxury goods company to acquire 38 percent of the Sauternes estate.
