December 15, 1998 An American Sets His Sights on the Rhône Kermit Lynch Becomes Co-owner of Gigondas Estate Kermit Lynch, an American wine importer, retailer and author, is becoming a vigneron. He's teamed up with the Brunier family of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe to acquire Domaine les Pallières in Southern Rhône's Gigondas appellation.
