
November 30, 1998 Runners Wine and Dine at Bordeaux's Médoc Marathon If there was ever a race for lovers of Bordeaux, the Médoc Marathon is it. On Sept. 5, this year's 14th annual rendition of the more than 26-mile race got off to a rainy start in the village of Pauillac, winding past 54 Bordeaux châteaus--some offering wines and palate refreshers of gourmet cheeses and local oysters to the runners.
