September 30, 1998 Grapevine A chef looking for new directions has shaken up two of New York's top restaurants. Gray Kunz , 43, left as executive chef of Lespinasse in the St. Regis Hotel in late July, after a seven-year stint during which he established the opulent dining room and his eclectic French-Asian food among the city's top culinary draws.
