September 15, 1998 Burgundy's New Empire Joseph Henriot gains control over William Fèvre's Chablis vineyards Joseph Henriot, who made his name in Champagne before he bought the Burgundian merchant house Bouchard Père & Fils three years ago, has now expanded his holdings in Burgundy with the acquisition of William Fèvre of Chablis.
