September 15, 1998 Cigar Maker Fuente Wins Opus Suit Napa Valley's Opus One winery has lost its trademark battle with the Fuente cigar-making family of the Dominican Republic over the use of the name Opus on Fuente's most prized and celebrated cigar, Opus X.
