Meltzer SOTHEBY'S London SALE DATE June 24 GROSS $735,000 (including the 10 percent buyer's premium) NUMBER OF LOTS 740 PERCENT SOLD 83 HIGHLIGHTS A jeroboam of Château Mouton-Rothschild 1953 sold for a record $9,200, while a case of the equally prized Mouton-Rothschild 1949 fetched $12,880, 40 percent above the first-quarter 1998 Wine Spectator Auction Index average.
