
July 31, 1998 Zero Common Sense Did you hear about the Colorado school principal who tried to teach some of his students about French culture, including wine's traditional place at the table? The students were participating in a one-week immersion trip to France in April and they tasted wine along with escargots and duck during a three-hour meal in a Parisian restaurant, according to a report in The New York Times.
