June 30, 1998 Grapevine Eight elite chefs from throughout France have joined forces, with the ambitious goal of opening French haute cuisine to greater influences from around the globe. Called Cuisine et Chefs, the group is headed by Marc Veyrat of the Michelin three-star l'Auberge de l'Eridan in the French Alps.
