June 15, 1998 Charges Against Canadian Chef Dropped A Canadian court case that started with two bottles of Alsace Gewürztraminer has ended with Champagne. One of Canada's top chefs, Michael Stadtlander, celebrated after the Ontario government dropped charges against him and returned his personal wine cellar.
